Title:  Business Support Officer

Job Type:  Permanent - Full Time

Location: Sydney Australia | Reports to: Manager, Business Support

 

Purpose:

To assist in the setting up of clients, recording and safekeeping of “Important Documentation”, maintenance of Authorised Signature and Dealers Lists, in preparation and submission of Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly and Yearly reports to HO, regulatory or any adhoc reporting, Business Support administration to Front Office, input of Financial Covenants, and assistance to other member of the Business Support and other administrative duties as directed by Chief Manager.

 

Core responsibilities of the role are:

  • Maintenance of records – accurate and up to date maintenance of all relevant records;
  • Data Entry - accurate input of client details into Bank systems;
  • Completion of reports – timely and accurate completion of reports as required;
  • Financial Covenants;
  • Bank audit confirmation and balance certificate;
  • Bank Guarantees and counter guarantee cross boarder issuance;
  • Proper recording and safe custody of documentation and reports;
  • Documentation to contain key requirements and be in a format acceptable to Mizuho;
  • Professionally represent the Bank when dealing with external parties;
  • With manager to have input into the improvement of Business support management systems and processes as well as the systems; and processes used by other areas that effect Business support

Required experience, skills or qualifications:

  • Previous Banking experience preferably in a similar role within a Commercial/Institutional Bank;
  • High understanding of  computer skills (Word, Microsoft Excel, Power point, reports writing) would be an advantage; and
  • Understanding of documentation for both Syndicated, Bilateral Facilities and Bank Guarantees.
